Thanks to the citric acid it contains, THERMOSHIELD C has an acidic pH value that reliably keeps instruments, medical devices, and machines free of inorganic deposits and, above all, limescale residues. By using THERMOSHIELD C in neutralisation it is possible to protect especially sensitive materials, e.g. anodized aluminium, and prevent entrained remains of alkali from the cleaning step.
